[シネママニエラ]BAFTA（英国映画テレビ芸術アカデミー）は１月５日（現地時間）、並外れた才能と向上心を持つ、若手の俳優・女優を称えるライジング・スター賞（Rising Star Award）２０１６年の候補者を発表した。国籍は不問の本賞。最優秀賞の発表は２月１４日（現地時間）、第７０回英国アカデミー賞（BAFTA）授賞式にて。会場は英国ロンドンのコヴェントガーデンにある歌劇場ロイヤル・オペラ・ハウスにて開催予定。ホストはスティーブン・フライがつとめる。
